Hooray! I am on my way to a city near YOU!
So, blah blah blah I've been a sappy ass. No more.
I'm leaving the country in 2.5 months for a few weeks, it is much needed. You see, I originally cancelled my ticket, which cost me an arm and a leg. I cancelled my ticket because I thought I was going to have a visitor. Turned out I was thinking like an idiot. This person probably had no intention of coming.... to which my statement is true that I am an idiot for believing otherwise. SOOOOOO since I have been pushed aside and forgotten about by many of my friends recently (hey guys not very nice.... tisk tisk) I re-purchased my ticket and I will be departing soon!
A lovely person has opened their home to me and I will be staying with this person the entire time, unless I irritate them and then I'll probably have to leave. LOL... At any rate, I am beyond happy and excited. Can't ya' tell?!
Well - I'm down to my last phase of weight loss and I look good. Tone up and tighten up, that's all I have to do. This last month I lost more than expected, which is GREAT. I'll post some pictures in my new dresses and heels soon. Until then... here are some new pictures of me and I LOVE my friend Jamie's post... being called a badass makes me feel all gushy inside. LOL

I've Lost My Marbles...
HI! Howdy! What's been going on??????
So, I've had a real fuq'd up couple of months. However, I am still alive and kicking baby! To my ex-boyfriend, take a freaking hike (this is nice considering I feel like saying 1,000 curse words about him). To my newly acquired "friend"... I like you - a lot. You've hurt me. FML... To graduate school -- really? LOL! REALLY?! Summer school is going to suck for 5 weeks! Good thing I have July to look forward to... wait. Do I? Probably not - you see, I have come to the conclusion that I am unlucky with life. HA! Totally unlucky.
I meet someone, I like them, I lay it all out there, I get hurt. Why? Because I allow myself to. I've come to this conclusion with the help of my dear friend Daisy LOL... she told me that I need to stop meeting men that don't realize how special I really am. I appreciate her concerns and words of love. BUT you can't help but meet someone, fall for them, and essentially get trampled all over because you want SO badly for them to care about you the way you do about them. Am I right? YUP YUP...
Here's the deal. My ex is my ex for a reason. It's over, he sucks, he hates me, feelings are mutual, and I'm done with that chapter of my life. The bad thing is, the dude lives in the house we purchased together. I'll never rid of him completely until the house sells or he croaks. I don't wish death, but damn it, cut me loose already. I deserve it. Really, I do. I deserve to be happy. I've been miserable for a long time. And I've been going through a really ROUGH time lately.... I just want to smile, laugh, love, be loved, and enjoy the splendors of life. It's hard. When will this happen for me? I keep thinking that things will get better. There's only one way but up right? WRONG.... I keep getting the shitty end of the stick. WTF is wrong with me?
I am the dumbest graduate student I know. And that says a lot since there is a lot of dumbasses in the graduate program, but I rank at the very tip top.
Anything interesting? Well, I've been dedicating myself to the gym for a month now, 5 times a week, hardcore baby.... SIKE. I do cardio 5 times a week and weight lift every other day. I look decent, but a few more months and I'll be pretty dope! Take that EX and new friend.
Oh yeah... I had to move back into my mom's house. Yipee. NOT! They appreciate me being here, I buy them their groceries and keep them company. Because you all know I am supreme when it comes to telling jokes and being a sarcastic asshole. You love it and THEY love it. High Five!
What is next for me? I have no clue. And I hate that. But, I really don't. I fell for some dude, who is wonderful... but like my life story, I have been hurt and so, I am once again a dwindling piece of garbage hanging by a thread, waiting to be cut from its misery. Oh shit, writer alert.
So, I'm off, when there is something interesting I will write again. Until then... here are some new pictures of yours truly.
XOXOXOX

What's Been UP? Well,... I'll tell you!
So life is strange, it takes different turns everyday when you least expect it. I've learned a valuable lesson, probably the most important lesson of my entire life.
Do not put your entire trust into somebody that doesn't fully love you.....
I've met new and exciting people that make me swoon every time we make contact.
School is hard but I am pushing through.
I have decided to apply to the PhD program.
I love myself and I'm beginning to think that being happy is all that matters...
More to follow, I've been in a daze lately - I'll be back on top in no time!

Hello Worthy People...
WOWZA people are reading my blog and there is really nothing very interesting on here. That just means you all freaking LOVE ME. Which is okay in my book. So whats been new? LET ME TELL YOU!
So my best friend, Roma has two younglings... they have recently been asked to model for the Spirit Hoods Kids line! I know RIGHT! They are adorable and beautiful young men and I am beaming with excitement for them. Little models they are... freaking spamtastic! I was able to go the final shoot in Malibu and wherever else we went, it was far let's just say that. We spent 14 hours on the road, at a shoot, running around like chickens with our heads cut off. BUT the end result is fantastic. CHECK THEM OUT!
And freaking buy a Spirit Hood, I mean really? If you don't have one already you are a snoozer. Get with the program and JOIN THE TRIBE.
Spirit Hoods or Spirit Hoods Kids
Speaking about Spirit Hoods.... [[[segway]]] I bought a new ONE! HOLLA! It's gorgeous, the Snow Leopard! This hood is super soft and light weight. I absolutely LOVE this hood.
I had been going back and forth whether or not to purchase the silky babe but I did and I am in LOVE. However, I am still the RED FOX and I am still head over heels in love with my Leopard.... but this one is fancy. Makes me shiver when I think about her... okay NEXT!
Grad school. Honestly --- what the fuck was I thinking? I mean, I love the experience and meeting new people, blah blah blah but 18 books and I am reading 3 simultaneously? I mean, come on now. I'm smart but not a speed reader. JAYSUS
My hair is almost to my ass [random, carry on!].
Australia, I am so still going. Looks like I'm rolling solo. But thats okay, that just means more time alone to figure out what the hell am I going to do when I come home or if I am EVER coming home. Time for el'Kimster to figure out whats more important... living life for myself or living my life for others? We all know the answer, for yourself silly! BUT I like to say that so it makes the trip look more legit rather than saying what I really am thinking. Which is::: HELL YEAH PARTY OVER HERE!
Saw my cousin from Hawaii after 14 years -- fun!
Saw my little cousin from Mission Viejo after 12 years -- fun!
Contemplating upgrading to the new iPhone 4 through Verizon Wireless.
Still editing my manuscript -- not so much fun!

Hyena Me BABY!
I always vote for the underdogs... don't you? The underdogs are missing from the Tribe at Spirit Hoods. In the Spirit Hood world there are leopards, wolves, lions, bears, cousin of wolves, even a night hawk (who is by the way no way an under dog), and other large mammals. These animals already have established themselves in the whole scheme of the Spirit Hood and animal world. They are praised, "Oh how cute" or "Oh how robust that big guy is" or "Wow what an ANIMAL"...
I feel, as does my best friend that in order to create a more balanced operation the Tribe is in need of something more than an overzealous animal who knows that their shit don't stink. The Tribe needs a Spirit Animal that has some insecurities, that is silly, crazy, even wilder than their counterparts.
The Tribe NEEDS the HYENA!
Now, I've posted on Spirit Hoods Facebook page and have some responses but it was not enough to get the creators, the men of Spirit Hoods, the el jefa's to really respond and be in agreement with the one's that think the Hyena is a good idea. Click here ... like the page, love the product, and vote YES for the Hyena! Come on... Phaleaseeeeeeee
Here's a scenario, put yourself in this situation and your best friend, or a friend, a sister, your brother, your mom, your sibling, whoever:::::
This signifies me and my best friend, Roma to a capital T!!! We crack up all the time, we are insane, well... she says I am crazy, but I concur that she is on the crazy path too.
The Hyena is perfect for the ever growing Tribe.
Stripes:::
Rosettes:::
Faux Hawks:::
The possibilities are endless, these will be epic and you all know this.
EXACTLY
So let's hear it... who here reading this would LOVE to have a Hyena Spirit Hood? I know I freaking do. In fact I would want a couple, one for me and one for my fantastic best friend.
I, The Smart Red Fox, hereby vote AYE for the production of the Hyena. Underdog... I say NAY! We will create a pack that will be insane compared to the proud and mighty wolf pack. We laugh, we don't howl. Ha Ha! We laugh in the face of danger.

There is a History in All Men's Lives - William Shakespeare
So my first week has been completed at grad school. I will say that my brain is deactivating already. Each course I am taking requires so much of my brain that I am not sure that I can equally disperse it. The first course requires me to read 12 books and then write papers for each reading and compose a chapter in my professors book that he is publishing in the Fall of this year. No pressure - right? The next course I stumbled into... I thought I was going to learn how to edit historical publications in general for museums, journals, publications, etc. Well, the class does teach the fundamentals but I am now an editor of the college's award winning history journal. With deadlines each week, oh and I was told that they have won every year for 24 years and want to take another victory this year to make it 25. No pressure - right? The last course I am taking was supposed to teach the fundamentals of public history, how the public views exhibits, etc... now I am helping with the exhibition of a museum that is to open the second week of April. Not only will we create the exhibit but we will be featured in multiple publications throughout the OC. No pressure - right?
I had no idea that graduate school was basically volunteer work. In essence it is, although I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a prestigious college and be a part of a publication, journal, and museum exhibit. I am just overwhelmed by the amount of work that lies ahead of me and the fact that I will quite possibly be THIS busy for the remainder of the year gives me anxiety attacks. I have a 2 1/2 month break in the summer and I intend to use it to the max! I AM going to Macedonia first, I was informed that funding is available for graduate students for RESEARCH and dammit it is research! LOL! Then I will fly to Australia... as soon as I come home I will be back in school. Back in action!
I'm tired, but I must continue to read. Shhhhhhhh... someone please tell me why I want a Masters Degree?

Good Day Darlings...
Good Evening or Good Morning whatever time of the day it is where you beautiful people live. I've had so much to discuss but my brain was turned off these past few weeks, my apologies...
First up:
BANANAS... I used to loathe bananas. They were gross to look at, has this weird consistency like mushy mashed potatoes. UNTIL I ate an organic banana. WOAH this was an amazing experience, one in which I eat two a day. Forget an apple a day, which I do, but I will eat two bananas during the course of the day. For the potassium and because they are so damn tasty. Holla it out loud with me:::: Banana! Big ups to bananas.
Next, I would really like to discuss Stella and Apple Cider...
WOWZA... this drink concoction that I accidentally stumbled upon is outstanding! It's like a fizzy, apple-like, beer that packs a punch after three. Well at least it does to me, I'm a light weight. Think about frothy, fruity, a little bitter,... MMMM MMM MM! That's right, it's so good.
The classic movie, Nacho Libre. One word: FANTASTIC. Moving on.
Gun Laws in Arizona... are we serious?! I just read an article that the Los Angeles Times put up today (Jan 22, 2011). It states that Arizona's gun laws are the most lenient within the United States. As long as you are 18 years old you can purchase a rifle or a shotgun. But wait! You have to be 21 in order to purchase a handgun. WOAH?! How stupid is this nonsense?! Legislation passed some bullshit to where guns are permitted just about anywhere in Arizona. Gee, that is so safe. I really want to be around a bar with a bunch of drunk people carrying guns. And get this, you do not need a permit. Arizona could be the best place for ex-cons, psychos, and murderers. Wait, there is more, guns are allowed at schools! Take the bullets out though, but hey why not bring a gun to school! Show and tell. Come around the classroom kids... woops, didn't know that last bullet was in the chamber, sorry Sally.
I understand "The right to bear arms" as it states in our country's constitution and Arizona's state constitution. This isn't Tombstone folks! I don't know, I guess I'm just paranoid from watching movies like Boys in the Hood or specials on Crips and Bloods. People carry their guns to the bank in the morning, coffee at Starbucks, concerts, school soccer games, I mean I would feel a little unsafe. Check it out... it kind of set me back a little, like, WHAT! http://tinyurl.com/4586dln
I start Grad School this coming Monday... wish me luck!

I SWEAR
As I sit here sipping on Archer Farms Organic Green Tea, which is a Target brand... I had this sudden urge to jump on my blog.
In my email last night I received a link to the Balkan Heritage Field School. I wondered, why a field school? My major is not archaeology or anthropology. However there is a field school in Bulgaria that offers hands on training for 13 days this summer that is complementary to my major as a History student! To restore and create educational assistance with 3 Roman murals that are thousands of years old! 24 students are allowed to come on this wonderful journey and I have sent in my paperwork! I simply cannot wait to join this team of students and be able to TOUCH a Roman mural. It is a dream that a lot of students in this field have, to be able to go into the world and visit ancient sites. To be able to take part in the preservation and restoration will not only be vital in my future career but it is a DREAM!
Directly after Bulgaria I will be on a plane to Australia! Talk about a worldwide summer vacation! This is extraordinary...
Side note,... my boyfriend of a million years, because that's what it feels like --- is an asshole. How many times do I have to hear that everything is my fault because I did not listen to him? I'm sorry, when did you become the Holy Grail of Truth? Do people come to you for advice? Last I checked you claimed you don't like anyone and no one likes you... so why the hell should I listen to what spews out of your mouth? Being blamed for things that I cannot control is like poking me in the back so many times with a stick. I am going to eventually snap and attack you. Constantly calling me a bitch and adding a very derogatory adjective in front of it that rhymes with ducking makes me a little pissed off. Being hung up on all the time because you are finished speaking to me is kind of like stepping on my toes in flip flops, I am now aggravated and upset.
We should seriously consider canceling this lovely relationship and shake hands. Because in all honesty this is not how I am supposed to be treated. RANT OVER

Hot Green Tea Por Favor
Hola people!
You guys ever notice that I use a lot of little Spanish words in my blogs or even when I speak? But you know what? I don't speak Spanish - I know, I know, you thought I did! Trickster! Tricky tricky I am. :)
Okay, side tracked for a second. So, I wanted to dedicate this blog to my favorite hot drink for the last 3 years, GREEN TEA! How many of you like a drink that not only gives you a little burst of energy but also has antioxidants in it? That's right people, I'm talking about the good shit... and it's not drugs or a laxative! It's GREEN TEA!
I drink a lot of it, I have over 10 boxes/containers, I am an addict. I suppose drinking tea is better than smoking pot, speed, or crack (crack is whack). Either I am drinking hot green tea, cold shaken Black Tea, iced tea with lemon, or cold green tea fraps...... always in the tea. How typically Asian of me! LOL! Okay, so the TOP 5 green teas that I absolutely LOVE are as follows:
1) The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl, whole leaf-loose! Not only does this tea have a SUPER long ass name, but it is fragrant. It smells like Thailand, jasmine fields, hint of green tea, with a dash of earth. This tea blew my mind, YUM! Expensive though, $20.00 for 4 ounces. The tea leafs and jasmine are rolled into tight little balls that unleash this flavor sensation! It's so damn good! Pretty strong too. Me likey...
2) The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: Genmaicha, whole leaf-loose! Again, this company has got it RIGHT! Love this, it is mild, fully of flavor, and it smells like green tea was freshly packaged and sent to your little container. The price is good too, $8.20 for 5 ounces. High Five - it's delicious!
3) Teavana: Gyokuro Genmaicha Green Tea, whole leaf-loose! Holy crap is this good. I mean, really good. It is tied with 2nd and 1st. MMMMMMMM! Expensive! 4 ounces is $24.00, I know, CRAP! But guess what? YUM! It has a really strong scent, sort of nutty.
4) Tazo: Zen Green Tea, tea bags! This is pretty good and reasonable. Target sometimes has a box of this on sale for $6.99, normally a box of 20 bags is $15.00. It smells divine and tastes pretty good. High five to a cheaper tea!
5) Bigelow: Green Tea, tea bags! Well this tea is not AS good as all the above, however it is cheap, pretty tasty, and worth it! For a box of 28 bags, it runs $4.99.
So there you have it. I'm lame right now and felt that I had to dedicate tonight's or this mornings blog to green tea. I am apologizing right now if this bored you to tears.... to further the embarrassment, below is pictures that I took of myself a few minutes ago drinking my Genmaicha Green Tea! Yummmmmmmmmm...
XOXOXOXOXOXXO

What's the Point of a New Years Resolution?
I carefully thought about this... a New Years Resolution. I mean, what is a New Years Resolution? People say things inane such as:
1) Lose weight
2) Be a better person
3) Go to Church more
4) GAG ME........
I am very sorry but saying that you're going to do something because it is a New Year is stupid. It really is and if you believe that it is otherwise, then I apologize. In reality these so called, "New Years Resolutions" will NEVER take course. Let me explain why....

*If you want to lose weight, you shouldn't WAIT until the New Year to make a promise to yourself that you will lose the weight. If you have a plan BECAUSE you are going on a trip - okay I get it. Other than that.... PHA-LEASE.
*You want to be a better person. What the hell does this mean? You won't be rude to people or mean to people? Possibly you will stop reacting when someone does something retarded and say to yourself, "Everyone is different, it's okay that he/she just hit my car because he/she was on their cell phone while driving." PLEASE... give me a break. You know damn well you want to say, "Stupid bitch! Are you retarded or something?" Being a better person has to wait until January 1st? COME ON laughing my fuq'n ass off here. Why can't you try to do this all year long? NEXT!
*You are going to go to Church more. Okay, this I understand - a little. I'm not a big Church/Temple goer myself, maybe once a month or every other month, just because my Temple (I'm Buddhist) is an hour away and it is a pain to drive there. BUT you know you will go until like March and then it gets old. If you're not an older woman and not completely religious, you ain't going to Church more than you have to. You know I'm right.... you know it.
SO... what's my New Years Resolution? To have smaller pores on my face. There you go. Something doable and simple. Maybe try not to curse like a sailor so much.... NAH. Who am I trying to please here? I curse... So What Who Cares?!

I will say this, BE FREAKING CAREFUL THIS NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!!!!!! NO DRUNK DRIVING PLEASE! AS NOTED IN MY LAST BLOG, JAILS DO NOT OFFER LUBRICATION. Take a cab, a bus, walk, sleep in a lawn, but mainly HAVE A BLAST.
HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!!!!!!

Lack of Etiquette
HI THERE!!!
It's rainy, it's pouring, the old man is snoring..... and I forgot the rest.
Man it is pouring in Not-S0-Sunny-California... it has been this way for about 3 days. But we really need it!
So--- what's new? I had my long awaited graduation/birthday/holiday party on December 18th at my house. It was great, a lot of family showed up, my high school friends, and my college friends came to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I planned this party for about 6 months prior when I received word that I was going to graduate in the Fall. Decorations looked fantastic, the food was catered [Thai food yum!], created a beautiful environment for everyone in attendance. My friend Teresa flew in from Reno, Nevada and spent 3 days with me which really made my weekend. We ate, drank, ate again, drank again, drank, drank, ate a third time, cake, drank, and passed out finally. Good Times!

CSUSB Alumni - these were a few guests that came through.... I love my ladies
I am bitter about the RSVP guests that claimed they were going to be in attendance and failed to do so. The purpose of RSVP is to ensure the host has enough food and drink for their guests or to make sure the host does not spend a lot of unnecessary money if people are not coming. Basically - I know a lot of flakes. Whatever the case may be, whatever happened to you on that day - there was still ample amount of time to cancel a day or two prior to the event. It's called COMMON COURTESY. Say it with me slowly people:
Common Courtesy
People lack the ability to know how to communicate or have a conscious. I constantly sent out reminders and the, "Hey are you coming? Let me know EITHER WAY" messages. I call these people: FLAKES. What do you do with flakes? Dust them off. I hate flaky people, I hate dandruff, I hate flaky crust, I hate FLAKES period. Moving on...The party was splendid actually - good friends, good times.... loud laughter, loud all together. So, thank you for those that came and celebrated with me. Much Love!
However, parties are a no go for me anymore. I refuse, it is a lot of work, money, time, and it's frustrating. Maybe a bbq but that's it. When I graduate from CSUF with my Masters I am not having a party, I am leaving the country for like a month and living la vida loca.
Lastly, I am a writer... good things a coming. Good things are a coming. Stay tuned!

Note: My new Leopard Spirit Hood from my Best Friend Romadocious. I LOVE it! However, I am still the Smart Red Fox....

Celebratory News from Southern California
Hey folks!

I graduated on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1:45 p.m. at California State University of San Bernardino. It was a hell of a long day but well worth it, I deserved the celebration even though I was beat tired with the longing to run out of the gymnasium screaming, "I FREAKING AM DONE!"

I look back at the time I spent at CSUSB and it was tedious, really it was. I began the journey working full time hours as an office manager for a private investigator and ended my last year at CSUSB without any job at all and focusing all my energy at my school work. It really paid off and I am lucky that I had the opportunity to not work and go to school. College is a full time job, it really is. Especially taking a full load! Trust me when I say, I did not have a life. My life revolved around studying, writing papers, research, and complaining about the work load. I will say that I worked my ass off for this degree, I was able to pull off 90 units in less than 2 years, which is insane!
What's next? Graduate school... I want an MA in History/Museum Studies and damn it, I am going to get it!
Possibly I may apply to UCR for their Phd program in History, which may be my best bet, seeing how I want to wear a fur pelt over my shoulder and announce the graduating class with an extreme English accent .... THE MASTERS..........

I love school. I love to learn. I love to write. I love to be a part of the collegiate process. CHEERS... on to the next!

What Fur Should Be My Next Venture?
Spirit Hoods is awesome... if you haven't already heard, THEY ARE. Trust ME!
I have the Red Fox and I love it so much, it has been a great asset to many adventures that I partake in. Such as getting gasoline, grocery shopping, make up shopping, going to school, walking around my neighborhood, traveling to movie openings with the BFF, dinner outings, you name it the Red Fox has been there. Some people like it, some people criticize it, I really don't care. You either like me or you don't, but you'd better like my Spirit Hood. This thing was expensive! LOL
So Black Friday is coming quick! Spirit Hoods is doing a really special deal for their subscribers! Well, I am one of them, I cannot wait to see what it is! I am hoping it is a huge sale on the next hood that I want.... Thing is, I can't figure out which one to get. It's frustrating.
I like the Black Wolf,... as so............

I also like the Leopard,... as so................

But I really like the Red Wolf,... seeing Chase Hamilton in the Red Wolf hood makes me want to buy it more and more. Look at him, crazy, confident, furry, and he growls. Yumified!

HELP! WHICH ONE?!!!!!! It's a sad situation when you simply cannot choose. I need input, feedback, if you personally know me just email me or text me. I would like to know though, since Chase is on the Spirit Hoods site for the Red Fox and I call myself the Red Fox,... who fits the bill more? Him or me? I think he does... DAMMIT! This concludes that I need a different hood, he stole my thunder! LOL

Go to their site and subscribe, become a member of the tribe, BUY BUY BUY! Funk Hot Topic and their whack ass wannabee's! Have you seen those? REALLY? Wankers.

Fast Forward....
I hate it when people ask, "So,... what's your story?" It's kind of like asking, "What kind of problems do you have?" To which I reply, "Noneya'".However, I will say that it is interesting to talk to friends or people you don't know and learn about their lives. Half of the time you listen and think to yourself that your life is NOT half bad in comparison. Sadly, I feel this way a lot, which is why I only have a handful of friends that I keep around because their brains actually function. I just cannot get myself to listen to people brag about themselves, talk about their suicidal parents, or sister who is a slore (slut+whore). It's not fun to hear about your past drug addiction, or your online dating scene, or perhaps listen to how you are so cool. First of all, if people have to tell you how cool they are, chances are they are just wannabe's who have this weird fascination that they are cool when in fact they are NOT. I call them, LAME.
In college I have learned that the vast majority of students are these LAME people. I don't give a crap about your coolness, who you slept with, what designer bag you scored on, the men that find you attractive, your personal life that consists of too many kids and not enough condoms. Please reframe from telling me these stories, for I do not care. In fact, I get bothered, not because I am high and mighty, but because you are simply irritating.

Another thing I've noticed at college is the lack of intelligence that attend classes. Is this our future? People that do the bare minimum to pass? People that think there is a warehouse of Pueblo Indians mass producing arrowheads? These people are the future of our country, our communities, teachers to our children? Good God, help me! I am really sorry, but there is not enough of me and my friends to go around... I am deeply sorry, but there is not.

When I graduate I will remember the struggle it took to get me there, but I will also have this haunting feeling that those people I just graduated with are going to go into the world and provide services, be a part of our communities, become teachers, who knows what they are going to do,... but their higher education is frivolous. Yet we let them pass because they have a 2.5 GPA. People, a 2.5 is a C average. Oh brother... leaders of America.

I worry, and so should YOU.

Ouch... Down with Tootsie Pops, Down I SAY
Kim: I really want a Tootsie Pop... crapsicles. Is 3 bucks in gas worth a trip to the gasoline station? Ponder-ponder-ponder-----rationalize, cavity, possible flat tire, it's chilly, may catch a cold.... I look like a mass murderer in my all black pajama ensemble and black rimmed Buddy Holly glasses.... but a Tootsie Pop, oh dear.

Hark Ye!
What an interesting day I had today. It was full of adventure, "Where is your spirit of adventure?" I ask.... well,.... where is it?
Let me start off by saying that this day would not have been at all possible without the assistance of fellow PHL (Public History Ladies) Dani S. Shall I begin? As you wish, you reply.
Got up super early to study. You see, I had two mid terms today, one I was scared to take because the reading was insane and also I stabbed myself in the left eye with a Tootsie Pop stick a few nights prior and the pain and swelling is still evident. DEEP BREATH,... okay, so I had to wake up and study early. Re-read Victorian era poems and re-read some stories written by Indians of the Spokane tribe. Interested in the rest of my day? It gets better, trust me.
I have to work at the museum in the morning, I planned to study while sitting there greeting visitors and well, that's all I do in the mornings. So, I arrive, the museum staff has silenced me! They are not speaking to me... why you may ask? Did I make someone angry? NO. Did I do something or break something I shouldn't have touched? NO. You see, they asked me to apply for the open position at the museum, I did and they hired the next day they told me to apply. SO,... in guilt they ignore me. Uncomfortable, so I split early to go to my first midterm.
Southwest Indians are interesting... but this midterm was very focused on terminology and knowledge of the population and agriculture shifts of the SW Indians. SO.... I begin. I knock out 6 handwritten pages within 45 minutes. I am the queen of the world!

Next stop, midterm number two is next. I meet Dani and we study, and study, and study. We get our tests and realize, damn we didn't study enough.
45 questions of things I really could not understand. 70% of the questions I understood the rest, blah.
Lunch! We were going to eat Thai food near campus, we arrive. GRADE B.... no thank you mister rat, I pass. We see an Indian restaurant, GRADE B.... we immediately exit due to concerns for our health.
Farmer Boys is safe, right?! We eat there instead. Dani orders an Orange Cream Shake,... yum! However it never gets to us. To which Dani states I am mean because I demanded her shake to be delivered to our damn table. HELLO! She paid for it ya' nitwits. So, the waitress comes back and tries to give her shake to another table. Clearly this waitress has the brain the size of a walnut, she just spoke to us! REALLY???!!!

Get back to campus, knowing we are going to be tardy, I suggest we park in the 30 minute stalls near Campus Parking. There are 7 slots available and I thought that moving the car every 30 minutes was a good idea.

I get an envelope and have to walk it to Social Sciences before 5, I leave really fast. WALK WALK WALK, return to class, Dani takes off. I now need to move the car, I continued the cycle 4 times of moving the car. LAME....
We learned about historic buttons. Oooohhhhhhhhhh interesting, NOT.

Right after class Dani and I go to a lecture on Indian Beads with an Indian Professor from India. We sit down, it's late. We are tired beyond anything. Dude next to Danielle is rubbing his black rubber soles to make his hands black and filthy! But not just one hand but both damn hands. OMG! So gross!
The Indian Professor spoke English, but his accent was so thick neither one of us could understand him. I got some words, but damn. For a moment in time Dani and myself felt as though we spoke Indian. Thank goodness for pictures and print on his PowerPoint. Dear lord.
We leave campus and see a Coyote. Symbolic. We are Coyotes at CSUSB and we spotted one on campus.
I'm done with this day. My head feels like it is going to explode. STRANGE DAY.
