The Broken Yolk, San Marcos, California
So, my family and I went to this restaurant that we saw on the Travel Challenge... Man vs. Food. This place was pretty packed for being so late in the afternoon and closing at 3 p.m. We wanted to see what the hype was about. According to Adam Richmond from the Travel Chanel, he states that the Iron Man/Woman Challenge Omelet was delicious and worth it.

Well, we went. My son got the Stroganoff Omelet with a blueberry muffin. My daughter ordered the California Omelet with sourdough toast. My lovie ordered the Southwest Omelet with wheat toast and a blueberry muffin. And what the heck did I order? Something that didn't make ANY sense! Fish tacos... LOL! What was I thinking?! Everyone ordered an omelet that was so delicious, trust me I tried all of them before they even had a chance. They were so GOOD! It is not over rated, this place is the best breakfast place I have been to in awhile. However, we did not try the Ironman Challenge Omelet, we should have, it would have been cheaper and filled all of us up. That particular omelet was 12 eggs filled with all kinds of things, topped with chili hash browns and biscuits.
SO,.... try the Broken Yolk Cafe -- if you're in the San Diego area. They are all over the place. YUM!

Labor Day Weekend
What is the significance of Labor Day?
Per the unreliable source of Wikipedia... The first Labor Day in the United States was celebrated on September 5, 1882 in New York City. It became a federal holiday in 1894, when, following the deaths of a number of workers at the hands of the U.S. military and U.S. Marshals during the Pullman Strike, President Grover Cleveland put reconciliation with the labor movement as a top political priority. Fearing further conflict, legislation making Labor Day a national holiday was rushed through Congress unanimously and signed into law a mere six days after the end of the strike. The September date was chosen as Cleveland was concerned that aligning an American labor holiday with existing international May Day celebrations would stir up negative emotions linked to the Haymarket Affair. All 50 U.S. states have made Labor Day a state holiday.
With all that said I wonder why we don't celebrate occasions such as National Lamp Day? Is there such a day in which someone invented the halogen lamp to shed light into rooms for people to see? I think it makes more sense to have a national holiday for something that is practical and useful. Do not get me started on Christopher Columbus Day, I mean, really? Celebrate a murderous explorer who in FACT was not the first person to have found the America's. In fact, this guy helped spread murder, disease, plague, and terror to the America's. WAY TO GO! So, why celebrate Labor Day? I mean, it's another day to have off - PAID, but why not something else? There are thousands of things to REALLY celebrate. For example, I would celebrate the first day a computer was invented. I have no idea when that was, but heck, that's a national holiday if I ever heard of one. Or may be have a national holiday of when the first president of the United States was inaugurated? Sounds like a plan to me! Or every year let's celebrate the birthday of OUR CURRENT president! That's something to think about. Labor Day... I don't know... I understand Memorial Day and Christmas but Labor Day. I still am at a quandary as to why this is such a huge day. And by the by, Thanksgiving.... REALLY, the false pretenses and stories of this day is hilarious. The pilgrims and the Indians shared a dinner on this day, we should give thanks. I give thanks for my life and family, but this could easily be deemed something else, like FAMILY DAY or APPRECIATION DAY. And quit telling that ridiculous story of the Indians and the pilgrims.

Talking Out of Your A$$.....
When people talk out of their asses do you really think any thought process goes behind it?
I enjoy saying things that are nonsensical. Fragmented. Unrelated to anything that the conversation is entailing.
Does it smell when you talk out of your ass? Metaphorically it should not, but quite literally it should. Or vice verse… LOL
So, I ask of you all, do you talk out of your ass? And if so, I want to hear the things that have came out of such region. Here is an example:
Conversationalists: “Yeah, that really is a bummer about BP and that oil spill. Now gas prices are going to escalate. I can’t afford to spend more money on gasoline - I may have to walk to work or take the bus.”
RF (me): “Hey does anyone know if potatoes with chili and sour cream are any good?”
Room Atmosphere: **Crickets**
Has this happened to you? I mean, there are other forms of a$$ talking but let's not get into all that.
So, I guess think before you speak. Or at least try.

Carmel Highlands, Here I Come!
I have been blessed this year by who knows what. I've just been blessed.
Going to school was one of my most challenging accomplishments that I have had to ever go through, but the pay off is so rewarding! I have received a call to travel up to Carmel Highlands, California.
I will share the details later, but for now, I am overly excited and I am a true believer now that you cannot simply wait for someone to help you achieve what you need to in your college career. You have to look out for yourself in every situation.
Feelings of splendor fill me right now.
